Fantastique! Our guide Claude was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We travelled comfortably between all the separate battlefields, cemeteries, museums and monuments with a expert commentary. When I showed him my grandfathers war record, Claude was able to take us to the town where he was stationed as an artilleryman. If you are looking for a personable and professional guide I highly recommend this tour.My husband and I were met at our hotel in Bruges by Claude (who had emailed days prior to confirm pick up location and time). My husband and I were met at our hotel in Bruges by Claude (who had emailed days prior to confirm pick up location and time). Claude was a wealth of knowledge and his tour was professional and informative. The lunch provided was home cooked and a delight (thanks Nelly). The finale of the tour was the wreath laying ceremony at Menin Gate which is an experience we will never forget. I can recommend this tour without hesitation for anyone interested in Commonwealth WW1 history.Thank you so very much Claude. Regards Wayne & JanetClaude is an excellent and knowledgeable guide who went out of his way to provide us with a memorable tour of the battlefields from Fromelles to Ypres. A brilliant day (12 hours) in a very comfortable vehicle. The take away folder of maps and narrative added to the experience. Highly recommended.
