I really enjoyed the tour with Joaquin. He is very knowledgable and friendly. The ride is very scenic and goes up into the mountains to the East of Santiago. It was great to get out of the city and see the natural beauty that surrounds it. I would definitely recommend this tour with Joaquin.

Joaquin was super accommodating. I have minimal experience with horseback riding and the trail is perfect for beginners. The trail is absolutely breathtaking and it definitely felt like a once in a lifetime experience. We were the only ones on the trail, which made the ride even more relaxing. Joaquin is super knowledgable about the area; along the way, he also pointed out to us a Chilean eagle and Andean condor. It’s a great experience if you want to get out of the city but don’t have the time to commit to a full day. There are apparently 2 rides available, a lower ride to a creek and the ride I did which goes high up onto a mountain by Santiago which gave an excellent view of the city. Although not that much, there are sections with a steep drop and some quite severe up and downs which are short. If you have problems with this, take the creek ride. The lead and back up guide were friendly and helpful. An efficient pick up and drop back service as well.Joaquin picked me up in the morning and drove me to the farm. Joaquin met me on time and gave me the chance to try mate while we waited for the other group member. The horses are kept in a beautiful location with great views of the Andes. The trip was great fun and I felt safe the whole time, as there were only two clients and we had two guides, which was very reassuring. The route took us along sandy mountains in the sunshine before entering the shade of the forest, where we stopped for sandwiches that Joaquin had brought. The views were varied and beautiful, including excellent views of the Bahá’í temple. On the way back, Joaquin was kind enough to take us to visit the temple, which was a highlight. Great host, great experience, I would definitely recommend it.Fun horse riding experience and friendly helpful guide! Despite the rain the day before, Joaquin has tailored the route to fit with such condition, yet kept the fun part. The place is very nice up in the mountains with a spectacular view of Santiago. I would definitely recommend this excursion.
