I had awesome two days with Said from Alms Tours. Another day we wanted a nice and chill day so we visited Ourika Valley to have a awesome scenic walk to see the waterfalls. We had a good lunch and the mountain view was wonderful. We also visited a local market where they sold anything you could need. Said gave nice insights during the trip and spoke perfect english. Another day I wanted something more adventorous so we went mountain biking next to Imlil. To save money and for interest of the local way of living I wanted to take a local transport to the mountain. There was also private taxi option but I found the local transport way more interesting. We had a nice menth tea at the local bus station and ride to the mountain with the local people. I really liked to get that close to the local way of living. The downhill biking was the best I ever had (and I have done that a dozen times). We rided cross the local berberian villages, followed a river in a small paths and went down the sand road for 30 kilometers or so. Mountain view was awesome and we were the only tourist in the mountain. Bikes were proper mountain bikes and in a good condition. This I can highly recommend for all action seekers! We were a group of three couples who contracted with Said to be our guide on a 10-day jaunt through Morocco and he provided us with outstanding service! We were a group of three couples who contracted with Said to be our guide on a 10-day jaunt through Morocco and he provided us with outstanding service! He is friendly, funny, knowledgeable, kind, and a delight to be around. He also managed the details of the trip extremely well (we went by boat to Tanger Med, then saw Chefchaouen, Fes, Meknes, Sahara desert experience, Ait Ben Haddou, Marrakech, Atlas Mountains, etc). When you are planning to be with someone for so many days, it is important that the person is flexible to accommodate changing plans or desires. Said was all of that and more. He made great recommendations for the places that we should see. He was understanding when we decided that we didn't want to see one particular place or another. We saw A LOT of the country, so we had a lot of driving time (plus a great driver, Lhoussain). Said gave just the right amount of commentary so that it was interesting but he didn't talk constantly. He truly was delightful and we can't recommend him highly enough! We will be recommending him to all of our friends who want to have a great experience in Morocco!Said was our guide for our hike to the Jebel Toubkal summit. Said was our guide for our hike to the Jebel Toubkal summit. We couldn’t be happier with our experience during our two day trek. It was our first time hiking in snowy/icy conditions and were nervous about using crampons and ice axe as we had never used them before, but Said helped us through every step of the way and we were able to summit to the top! He is a friendly, skilled, patient, and all around fantastic mountain guide. We also had a great time learning about Morocco and Berber culture. Thanks for a great memorable trip! Our guide Saïd was great. He was well informed about the area, helped us in what we needed and cooked us really great food during our 2 day trek. He took good care of us and the trek took us to see beautiful scenery and villages.
