Ämin walked us through the Baku downtown. We saw almost the whole downtown. He gave us a lot of interesting facts about all the buildings and answered all our questions regarding anything . He always took care that we stayed in shadow while he was explaining. Bring enough water if you’re bot used to Baku’s summer heat. Would recommend. It was really nice walking with Emin to get to know the downtown area and it’s historical background and changes.

I did the downtown Baku walk with Emin. First, I was the only participant on them tour and was pleasantly surprised that Emin did not cancel. It felt like a one-on-one personalized tour. Emin’s knowledge of the downtown area is deep and expert. No matter how esoteric or individualistic my questions were, Emin gave expert answers. He allowed plenty of time for photos. You could tell that Emin was very proud of the city. He told stories and delivered little known city facts. He allowed plenty of time for photos. It is hard to find your guides as friendly and intelligent as Emin.
