We spent $600 to take our family of 8 up to do sunset and have a glass of wine for 7:00. When we go there both restaurants were closed for private parties and the patio bar closed at 7, just before we got there. Management response was “ sorry”. The view and the sunset was beautiful.

In addition, there was a discounted rate for the kids at a certain time that we were able to take advantage of. We got some amazing pictures, enjoyed the beauty of the boardwalk at the top, and learned more about the history of the park! Overall I would truly recommend this as fun for all ages and a can't-miss Banff experience.Had an excellent experience at the Banff Gondola.
