Jan was our food hero on this tour. We tried so many things I completely lost count. Everything was lovely and it was great to explore Chinatown. The bonus bits were a great addition, we love hearing some backstory and history on places and the balance was just right. Secret bits were definitely appreciated too! Felt like I was just out exploring with a friend by the end of it. In terms of food quantity, we were comfortably full by the end of it, but we're big eaters. I can imagine some people tapping out early as there's a fair bit to get through! She took loads of pictures and video for us too which was nice.We had Jan who did a private walking tour with just the 2 of us. She was absolutely amazing and incorporated stop overs in China Town non food related as well and briefed us on history etc. We were extremely full by the end (so note to pace yourself!). We had Jan who did a private walking tour with just the 2 of us. She was absolutely amazing and incorporated stop overs in China Town non food related as well and briefed us on history etc. We were extremely full by the end (so note to pace yourself!). Favourite dish was the noodles & satay chicken near the end. Highly recommend as Jan just knew the area like the back of her hand. Thanks Jan! Our Guide, Chantana (aka Jan) gave perhaps the best food tour we have ever taken. She took us to 10 different places, from food stalls to sit down restaurants, none of which we would have found on our own. Each provided a distinct culinary specialty, and all were simply delicious. She also incorporated stops at temples, included some fortune telling, and histories of the places we passed by. It was a great all around evening. Worth every Baht!It was for sure an authentic street food experience through secret paths of Bangkok. Just try to be as hungry as possible if you want to enjoy every bite of the food. Jan, our tour guide, was very knowledgable about the Siam history and landmarks. She was very fun, easygoing and easy to understand.
