The helicopter flight was for my wife's 70th Birthday. Safey-Safety-Safety! This thrilling 30-minute helicopter flight whisks you up from the helipad on a rural property, nestled in the Hoffnungsthal Valley. Through the State-of-the-art Robinson R44 Helicopter's windows, we gained a remarkable panoramic view of the Barossa Valley from the flying height of approximately 300m (1,000ft). We experienced a number of 'Gilt-edge' wineries all without moving our feet or getting our lips wet, enroute to the Whispering Wall at Williamstown. This is the perfect scenic tour for those who want to see the vastness of the Barossa Valley, wineries, and topograhy of the valley floor with lush green vineyards, in a limited amount of time and narrated by the pilot to boot. From the time we moved away from reception area to boarding the helicopter, then disembarking flowing the flight, client safety was paramount. Thank you Barossa Valley Helicopter Flights for a most memorable safe event.Together with my wife and daughter, we went for a 30 minute flight and it was fantastic, the whole process of booking with Barossa Helicopters (Sandra), to checking on to the fantastic flight (Billie) and a chatting with all before and afterwards. You don't turn 40 every day and so my wife booked us on the 30 minute Barossa Valley flight. What a great experience flying up and down the valleys and over huge Wine estates. Some of those vineyards are massive. The flight experience is comfortable and the safety of passengers paramount so on arrival you watch a safety video and are supported to board the chopper safely. Once in you fly over some of the most magnificent scenery and get a sense of how big some of these wine businesses are. Would have liked a bit more of commentary about the history of the Barossa and the winery's we saw rather than just a point and name guide.
