Stop At: Torres del Paine, Torres del Paine, Magallanes Region

After 2 hours of travel, we will arrive at Estancia Torres del Paine, the starting point of our trek. After a previous talk from our guide, we will begin to walk along the path in the direction of an old bridge that crosses the Asencio River. After 1 hour of walking, we will arrive at Camping El Chileno, in the shade of a spectacular lenga forest, crossing several slopes that fall from Mount Almirante Nieto.

After a brief stop, we will continue our way to the next viewpoint, at an altitude of 700 m. From here, the path increases its slope. Half an hour later, we will reach the Las Torres Base at the eastern end of the lagoon, from where we will have a spectacular view of the three towers (Central, Monzino and Dagostini) and the Peineta and Nido de Cóndores hills, if cloudy conditions they allow it. With this view, we will have time to rest and have lunch.

I recommend this company for travelers looking for an intense Patagonian experience. The hike was challenging in the late winter season but rewarding. Vincenzo, our guide, spoke Spanish and English and was full of information on the local flora and fauna.

Vicenzo was very friendly and spoke English and Spanish. I was the only person not fluent in Spanish in the group but this was not a problem. He was very engaging the whole time. I went in August and was unsure how the winter conditions would be. However, he came prepared with spikes and poles an...

They then found another driver that had the right license but the tou...
