Bath Private Guided Walking Tour
Overview
Bath is situated in the isle of Somerset and has the only natural spring in all of Great Britain. Indeed, for centuries, Bath was famous as a hot springs center for the Romans. From the Elizabethian until the Georgian era, Bath was mostly for the rich, which resulted in a unique collection of Georgian architecture (most notably, the Satellite Crescent). In 1987, the city was declared a World Heritage Site. With plenty of places to eat and drink, as well as some of Britain's finest independent shops, Bath is the ideal city break destination.

Jamie’s deep knowledge of Bath history and heritage. Opportunity to avoid crowds and enjoy “back door” entry to a couple of the major sites. Particularly appreciated Jamie’s wit, sense of humor and courtesy. We feel extremely lucky to have had Jamie for this tour. Well done, Jamie Morris!

Ingrid's explanation of the architectural history of Bath was fascinating, from the use of the Bath stone to the influence of the elder and younger John Woods. She made it all come to life and made me wish I had more time in Bath!
