Stop At: Emily Bay, Norfolk Island Australia
You will have an eagle-eyed view of the tiny crescent-shaped beach and the magnificent spread of ocean stretching to the far horizon.
The beautifully set tables will delight you – it’s the most glamorous picnic you will ever attend! Scrumptiously fresh, local fish is prepared the local way and accompanied with a range of seasonal island dishes including those passed down from our Polynesian fore-mothers. This extends even to dessert. Our feast kicks off with entertainment, by a local singer and Tahitian-style dancers. The venue is subject to change if the weather becomes inclement

We definitely recommend this event. There is more to eat than you can, with many local dishes. You can purchase some wine or beer. The location is breathtaking and there is life entertainment, including some young island Tahitian dancers. Highly recommended

Highly recommendedThis was overpriced for what you got .It was basically fish and chips with a couple of cheap salads. We had a better and cheaper meal in town the night before.

The only reason I am not giving this five stars is that at $85.00 per person, this is a bit of a rip off. Someone is making a lot of money here for something that should be priced at around $50.00.This is a group tour event. The fish was surprisingly excellent, freshly caught, cooked and served. We were a little disappointed with this tour as it was not quite up to our expectations. You are driven to a location on the cliff top overlooking the ocean, not far from Puppies Point. You arrive there around 5.30pm and enjoy a drink from the bar for which you have to pay $6 for either a beer or a glass of wine. While you are drinking this a singer with a guitar entertains you until a dancing girl arrives and performs some local dances before picking four people from the audience to go up and dance as well. All of this was quite entertaining. The guitarist then stays for the duration of the night playing a medley of tunes. The fish was served and was very tasty and served with chips and a choice of three salads. when it came to seconds the most popular salad, a coleslaw, had run out and was not replaced which was a shame. However there was more fish which was the most important part of the night. The location was excellent and the sunset reasonable even though it was not up to the usual standard. The whole tour took two and a half hours and although it was enjoyable we thought that it was rather overpriced for what you got.We arrived at the destination overlooking the sea as the sun was starting its descent for the evening; tables were set up for our dining pleasure and a bar for the purchase of drinks. We arrived at the destination overlooking the sea as the sun was starting its descent for the evening; tables were set up for our dining pleasure and a bar for the purchase of drinks. As the sun set the fish and salads were served with local coconut bread. Serenaded with songs from a bygone time, that most of the guests would have grown up with. A couple of local girls came and demonstrated some local (Hawaiian) Island style dancing. Not a late night as everything was timed around the sunset.
