We did the full day Sonoma bike tour with our group of 6 and we had an amazing time with Alan! It was very easy to book our reservation online. We inputted the heights of each person in advance and the bikes were perfectly adjusted and ready to go when we arrived. The bikes were easy to ride and we were well equipped with water and a bike bag. Alan has been with the company for many years and he is an extremely knowledgeable and personable guide. We went to three fantastic wineries - Buena Vista, Homewood and Gundlach Bundschu. Lunch from Girl and the Fig was excellent - delicious variety of sandwiches, green salad, olives and fried garbanzo beans. We lucked out with glorious weather. The day was perfect all around. Thank you again, Alan! We will definitely do this again in the future. We did a 1/2 day bike tour for a total of 15 miles. Easy biking with maybe a couple of small hills but no problem whatsoever. We did a 1/2 day bike tour for a total of 15 miles. Easy biking with maybe a couple of small hills but no problem whatsoever. Paul was our guide really nice guy where safety is his number one priority which was great. He made us all feel very comfortable especially my friend who is a beginner bike rider, when we finished she said it was one of the best days she had on vacation! Sonoma is a great place to do this tour, not as much traffic as Napa. Paul took us riding in this gorgeous neighborhood of multi million dollar houses, wow! The real estate in this area must be off the charts. We visited 2 wineries, the first was Buena Vista (great place with a great history) and Ceja which also has a brewery which was awesome, kinda liked the beer more than the wine. If you are looking to get some exercise while wine tasting this is the way to go!We had a great tour with Lance. We had a great tour with Lance. My husband and myself booked this tour just days before we arrived in Sonoma and found that we were the only ones on our tour but they still went ahead and offered it which was great. Lance took us to Buena Vista and as we were quite early we were able to go into the caves and have a look around. Beautiful grounds. We then went to Gundlach-Bundshu and after a short walk and some wine tasting, our amazing lunch was delivered. Realizing we only had one more winery to see, and definitely, 3 is enough for one day, we asked Lance about more biking. He was happy to take us up the Lovall Valley Loop and we enjoyed getting some more exercise. Then off to Ravenswood which was lovely setting for a warm afternoon visit. We also stopped at the local Historical park and had another wander. Great day and super guide. Be sure to ask for extra cycling if you are a small group. The actual tour is not a lot of biking. Our group of 8 completed a bike wine tour with SVBT&R, and we had a great time. We had mixed fitness levels and a couple found one leg particularly challenging due to a small hill and strong wind, but it wasn't overly taxing and we survived. Our group of 8 completed a bike wine tour with SVBT&R, and we had a great time. We had mixed fitness levels and a couple found one leg particularly challenging due to a small hill and strong wind, but it wasn't overly taxing and we survived. Traffic wasn't too bad on the roads we traveled. We visited 3 wineries and traveled a total of 15 miles, both more than enough. The travel itinerary was changed by our guide that day, but we weren't fixated on any particular winery and greatly enjoyed 2 of the 3 tastings. The isolated exception was due to the winery rather than the tour company. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable, and he knew when to talk and when to let us just socialize and hang out. Everything was setup in advance, and all was ready for us when we arrived. All in all, a great way to spend a day in Sonoma. It started as a rainy day. Most uncommon in Sonoma ! Besides equipping the group eight (including my wife and I) with new bikes fit to our size, they handed out rain jackets. The tour was a great way to see the scenery and enjoy three wine tasting with lunch at one of the wineries. All of us were in our 50's and largely not regular bike riders. The pace was casual and not too strenuous. Great tour.Took this bucket list bike tour through Sonoma wine country and had a fantastic day! Took this bucket list bike tour through Sonoma wine country and had a fantastic day! Our guide Steve was fantastic with both his biking expertise, knowledge of the area and friendliness! Ravenswood winery and Homewood were the absolute best of our entire Napa/Sonoma stay and the catered lunch was delicious. Can't recommend highly enough.
