What to expect
You will be transported uphill by mini bus and then ride downhill all the way. You can cycle as much or as little as you like. The mini bus will always be there for you.
The itinerary begins with pick up at your accommodation in or near to Benidorm around 9.30 am (in winter around 10:00 am). A 60 minute drive to the top of Mt. Aitana is where you'll be fitted with a safety helmet, receive a detailed safety talk, and be allocated a bike.
Next, bike ride about 5 miles to the village of Penaguila. You will stop twice on the way to ensure your comfort. Then have a drink of fresh spring water while the bikes are loaded onto the trailer. Another downhill glide from the highest point of the ride into the village of Alcoleja. Drive up to the restaurant of the Safari Aitana Park for lunch at approx. 12.45 pm. Lunch is not included into the price.
The afternoon ride leads you past the village of Sella where the Bike Ride ends. Head into the local bar for a beverage to celebrate your achievement and receive your certificate as proof that you've ridden 24 miles through the Costa Blanca mountains. Lastly you will be driven back to your accommodation and arrive at about 4.00 pm.

- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Especially from mid October to mid April we highly recommend to wear long trousers and closed shoes, i.e. trainers.

Really enjoyed the Benidorm downhill cycle. It was well organised and well supervised. The pick up from the hotel was on time and lunch was lovely. Tony our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area we were cycling in.

A great way to see the beautiful scenery in the mountains away from the resorts for a day, Tony is a fantastic guide full of local knowledge, this is a must do when in the area!

Absolutely loved this! Everything was really well organised. We were messaged the day before to confirm the trip and collected from our hotel bang on time. Tony was friendly and helpful all day. The rides down the mountains were fast and fun and we all really enjoyed it. We were able to go at a pace that suited us all but we had regular stops to take in the views and learn about the local area. Tony was very knowledgeable. Lunch was at a local Spanish restaurant. The kids said it was the best day of the whole holiday. We didn't want the experience to end and would definitely recommend it. We also wouldn't hesitate to do it again if we were back in the area.This was an all round great trip, professionally organised, informative and fun. This was an all round great trip, professionally organised, informative and fun. We were picked up on time from our hotel and all the joining instructions were clear and concise. We felt very safe and were fully able to enjoy the ride and the absolutely stunning scenery. Everyone was able to go at their own pace. Lunch was at a lovely Spanish taverna, inexpensive and yummy. The two Tonys looked after us very well. We were just disappointed when the day ended all too soon. Thank you Tony and Tony! We will be back.
