Our family of 4 took the all day walking tour of venice. It was amazing. We first walked through some less busy sections of Venice and learned about the history and architecture of the city. We had a gondola ride that let us see the place from another perspective. We had a free hour for lunch, which was good to relax. Then, the afternoon was skip the line tours of St Marks Basilica and Doges palace. Our guide Lara was very informed and keep us and the kids (age 11 and 13) engaged throughout a long day. Her storied made the city really come to life.We had Gabriella as our tour guide. She was phenomenal with the history and information she shared. I also appreciated that she was so considerate. Asking if we need to use bathroom, stopping always where there was shade and one did not feel like you were on a time limit. It was simply outstanding

Amazing tour of Venice with the best guide! We were only there for a day and we were able to see everything we wanted! Lara was wonderful, so knowledgeable and gave such interesting information. She guided us seamlessly through the neighborhoods of Venice showing such interesting places. We had a gondola ride then break for lunch. After lunch, we went to explore St Marks Bacilica and Doge's Palace with skip the line tickets. She knew so much about these places and pointed out such interesting things! A wonderful experience, highly recommend!Great comprehensive tour of Venice, starting with the smaller residential area, followed by gondola ride and breaking for lunch, then reconvening for St. Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace. It’s a long tour, so probably better suited for families with older age kids.

The best part about this was our tour guide - Susy. An intelligent, knowledgable and overall lovely and funny individual who made the entire trip so brilliant. We received instruction from the tour operator to meet our tour guide at the meeting spot by the train station. Because it wasn’t peak season, Susy advised us that it was just me and my partner on the tour. This was brilliant because it was as if we had booked a private tour for 2. Susy started off by talking us through the day, alongside pulling out her A4 folder showing us the walking path, general geography of the area and a little history about Venice. As it was just the two of us, Susy tailored the trip around us and what we were interested in seeing. This was brilliant as she genuinely took the time and effort to answer all our questions and show us around. We were able to learn about the locals, the churches / museums / famous artists! Susy treated us to some coffee and taught us more about the Venetian tradition and practices. Susy also factored in taking pictures of us and taking breaks to make sure the tour didn’t overwhelm us! We were able to take a gondola ride, walk over the Rialto Bridge, visit the Doge’s palace and the Basilica. Had we have done this tour alone, we would have missed out. Susy’s exceptional knowledge of all the history blew us away.
