Catherine Emmerich died in 1884. In 1891 Paul, Superior of the Lazarists from Izmir read about her visions and found a little building which corresponded with Emmerich’s descriptions. Visiting the house of The Blessed Virgin Mary was my highlight. Being a great guide, Fatima allowed extra time there after knowing this was the main reason for my trip, so grateful for this. Fatima also adjusted the tour slightly to accommodate our small group needs. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Safe and reliable drivers who collected me from the hotel lobby on time. Lunch was satisfying and filling which was located in a large eatery area. Carpet weaving talk and display was quite interesting and felt lucky watching such a skillful art. Such beautiful carpets made and shown but was not pressured to buy. Highly recommend. The whole experience was great. Staff are very responsive and friendly.
