Day 1: KILIMANJARO TO KARATU
Stop At: Karatu, Karatu, Arusha Region
Kilimanjaro airport – Karatu 3 h. transfer
Program: Pick up customers at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Karatu by private car for overnight.
Activities: If you have time you can stop at local market on the way, otherwise you can relax at the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge or Marera View Lodge or Kudu Lodge.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Karatu – Tarangire 1 h. transfer
Program: After breakfast we drive to Tarangire Park for the game drive with pic-nic lunch.
Activities: game drive.
Tarangire is the river crossing Tarangire National Park, the park is famous for big herds of elephants, the huge baobab trees and the high number of predators. There is a lot to see and explore here.
Dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge or Marera View Lodge or Kudu Lodge.

Karatu - Manyara 40 min. transfer
Program: After breakfast we proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with pic-nic lunch.
Activities: game drive.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for biodiversity, the park includes different environments: the lake, the forest and the plain. The lions climb the trees because they don't like wet soil due to underground springs. Rich in primates, birds and big mammals.

Program: After breakfast we leave Karatu village and enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We proceed crossing Ngorongoro Highlands until Serengeti gate, here we start the game drive for this days.

Serengeti Park is the most famous park of all Africa, more than 15, 000 squared kilometers of savannah full of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants and many other wild animals.

Da ragazzo avevo un sogno, vedere gli animali selvaggi nel loro habitat naturale, liberi di correre, riposare, coccolarsi, inseguirsi… Tanti anni dopo, quando quasi neppure pensavo più che esistessero al mondo luoghi in cui questo tutto questo fosse reale, sono incappato nell’idea di visitare i parchi del nord della Tanzania. Con mia moglie abbiamo accennato la cosa a nostro figlio che da tempo vive lontano. Non ci ha pensato due volte e sospinti dall’avventura siamo partiti. Un viaggio fantastico, le giraffe lente sulle rive del Manyara come extraterrestri antenne verso il cielo, proboscidi, meticolosi attrezzi, a bagnare di acqua e fango le schiene dei pachidermi, l’immensa savana e i leoni e i ghepardi del Serengeti, antilopi e antilopi, bufali, zebre e gnu gnu gnu. Parla un ottimo italiano ed ha una vista acutissima, riusciva a vedere animali anche lontanissimi o nascosti nella vegetazione. E' stato veramente una esperienza strabiliante, a bordo dei fuoristrada confortevoli, tenuto conto del fondo stradale non proprio liscio negli sterrati, sempre con il frigo fornito di acqua e bibite. Oltre agli scenari mozzafiato della Savana, l’esperto Masha e i due driver Cosmo e Justin hanno reso questo viaggio indimenticabile. Ci hanno insegnato molto sugli animali selvaggi e sulla cultura locale, creando allo stesso tempo un clima a dir poco famigliare. É stato bellissimo!
