This 5 hour excursion was fantastic. Our guide, Anna Marie was very knowledgeable about the culture and geography, everything really and was very enthusiastic. The drive up to the Skywalk is insanely narrow and you would have to be insane to try and do it on your own. Our professional driver, Nicksha (sp) made us feel safe. We have been traveling to Croatia regularly for over 25 years and I was amazed how much I learned during this excursion. And of course the views are amazing. A really nice trip with amazing views! The skywalk is a nice attraction but for me the highlight of the trip was a 20 min hike we took to one of the mountain peaks. Also met some animals on our way which was a nice surprise :) Our tour guide Petra and driver Nikša were great! Definitely would recommend taking this tour if you want to see the mountain rather than driving yourself as the road is very narrow and I felt much safer with a professional driver.Unique experience, worth every second of it. Skywalk Biokovo is one of the most amazing attractions in Croatia. It is located ~30km drive from Makarska and the view is wonderful!! Here are some tips and information. -when you come at the entrance of the Biokovo Park, there could be sign that “the park is closed”, but the park is most probably open!! so go inside and ask if the park is open -entrance fee is 50kn (if you ride the bike price is 25kn) -there is narrow road to the top and cars go up and down in groups so that there is very little or no passing by between cars -it takes arround 30minutes driving from the entrance to the skywalk -when you come to the skywalk,put some sunscreen on because you can easily get sunburns -After the skywalk you can continue to drive to the top of the Biokovo (st. Jure) - When you are at the skywalk, the guards would probably tell you to stay for the 5 minutes max. and leave so that others can come and take some photos :/. You cannot stay and just enjoy the scenic view as much as you want! Unfortunately there are not enough parking places for all the cars and visitors that are coming and you can’t stay for a long time. I hope in the future there would be more facilities and adequately organized parking. That is the reason why I gave 4/5 stars.Odlično iskustvo, odličan pogleda.
