It was the best kayaking experience I ever had in my life. It was worth the $50. The staff was good too & the munchies in the end were a plus.

My Wife, Grandma and Aunt went on this trip and had so much fun! Recommend bringing a waterproof case or camera so you can record the action! Our Grandma and aunt had some issues kayaking and received assistance from some of the staff. They genuinely enjoy their job and make sure to do everything possible for us to enjoy the adventure! Love my island, love my people, and definitely enjoyed this excursion.Honestly this was not great. Super excited and had wanted to do this for quite some time. Honestly this was not great. Super excited and had wanted to do this for quite some time. I know the bay changes with weather so we tried to be smart and go on a night that didn’t have a moon as recommended but we basically saw nothing 😫 The paddle out of the bay in the dark was super chaotic with boats running into each other and getting stuck in the roots of trees. Our lead guide just basically took off and we had no idea who we were following. The guide felt very rushed through the whole thing - just get them in and out and get it over with was the vibe. There are so many great things to do in Puerto Rico and unfortunately I cannot recommend this one unless you are willing to go multiple times in the hopes that you get lucky one night and the bay is beautiful. These guys were awesome! The guides are super funny, and knowledgable of the area. Even though it was not the most ideal time to see the bioluminescent they still made it work and we were able to see this unreal occurrence. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know!

I really enjoyed this tour. I went with two other friends and we drove in our rental car to the bio bay. There are a bunch of tours that start in the same park, so arrive a bit early to find the correct one. Everyone goes on tandem kayaks, so as a group of 3, one guy was paired with another person from the tour. We did the the 5:30 tour which was beautiful to paddle out in the sunset and still have some light. Once it got dark and we were in the lagoon, we started to see all the magic. The water glows when you move you hand or paddle in the water. It was so cool. They also put a tarp over a handful of kayaks at a time to help see the glow in total darkness. We went on a night with very little moonlight in the sky. The kayaking back was a bit difficult in the darkness but the tour guides help you out. Ps. Most of the pix you see online are photoshopped, don’t get high expectations from them. But it’s a really cool experience.Excellent booking and follow up. Reasonable price. Unique experience. Excellent booking and follow up. Reasonable price. Unique experience. Guides were attentive. The paddle in was made easier by current. Mangrove very neat to see. Radio communications and headlamps were good for guides. Improvements needed were: recommend non experienced or first time kayak people to be put at rear. They slowed us down by constant crashing or getting out of line going down narrow channel. Better sorting of crafts, headlamps for each kayak, and communication with other bio tour companies. Safety was a concern with complete darkness on the return through mangrove channel. ...an an onslaught of another companies kayaks hitting us head on.! Their guides failed to keep their patrons to the far right of channel. The tarp cover is not a good option....if not dark enough by natural lighting...., is it really worth the trip based upon advertised photos which promised beautiful purple and white bioluminescent glows. The guide which explained the origin and biology did a great job.
