I was a little nervous when the small bus pulled up at our hotel as I can easily get motion sick, but the bus was surprisingly comfortable and spacious. We were the last pickup and Sean whisked us out of downtown in spite of the rush hour traffic. We did see a few kangaroos in the wild on our way to breakfast and that was an added bonus. At our breakfast stop, we met Graham and Alec and enjoyed a bush breakfast while getting to know them better. We realized after listening to Graham, who was a volunteer fire fighter during the recent fires and who lost members of his crew to the fires, how deeply the recent tragedy of the fire's destruction of land and animals and loss of life has scarred the psyche of all Australians. Graham was also very interested in my story of returning to Australia to visit my "pen friend" with whom I have been corresponding since 1958. Sean was a great tour guide with extensive knowledge of the area and a fantastic knack for avoiding crowds and getting us the best seats on the gondola and railway ride. Lunch was delicious in a lovely restaurant and Featherdale wildlife preserve a great place to see animals up close. We were lucky to have a beautiful, clear, warm and sunny day for our visit (the best day in months according to Sean) and enjoyed a great ferry ride down the river back to downtown Sydney happily avoiding rush hour traffic. This was an up close and personal tour, packed with many adventures and great commentary that was much more enjoyable and intimate than the crowded, mega bus tours we have done elsewhere and I highly recommend it.My husband and I had cancelled our trip to the Blue Mountains because of the news reports of the devastation caused by the fires. My husband and I had cancelled our trip to the Blue Mountains because of the news reports of the devastation caused by the fires. When we arrived in Sydney, our concierge (a volunteer firefighter who had been fighting the fires) told us it was safe and he recommended Blue Mountain Tours. We were so pleased with this tour. Our local guide, Sean, was the best! He was very knowledgeable. The tour included 2 meals, entrance fees to all parks, a variety of modes of transportation, including a small bus, a cable car, a train (albeit a somewhat scary ride for a chicken like me) and a ferry. We learned so much about the area, viewed breathtaking scenery and got to see many animals at the Featherdale Wildlife Park. We highly recommend this tour. The best tour to the Blue Mountains. The best tour to the Blue Mountains. Small group, super knowledgeable driver and host Hayden (who also has a great singing voice!). Both breakfast (with the owner of the company) and the lunch were 5 star. Comfortable air conditioned small bus picked us up at our hotel and beautiful cruise back to Circle Quay. Hayden is a great story teller and clearly loves his job. Graham thank you for your top notch customer service. This was a fantastic day trip with the most beautiful views of the Blue Mountains, the Three Sisters and so much more, but what made the trip was our guide mr Hayden Stephenson, telling us about nature, history and the people of Australia. Well worth it! And met some wonderful people as a bonus!

This was by far the best tour we took while we were in Sydney. The pick up was well coordinated and easy to get to. Sean was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable about the city of Sydney and everything in between the city to our trip out to the Blue Mountains, I’m 110% positive our group would give him 5 stars if it was possible. They were able to spot animals and birds and show our entire group so know one missed out. They made sure everyone had enough time to take in the views and get the picture! The breakfast was cooked fresh when we arrived and served hot! And it was delicious. The tour buses were super clean as well and had plenty of room for everyone. It is a great tour if you really want to get some great views and actually learn about the bush from people who actually live there and are passionate about it.I just finished this tour and WOW! I just finished this tour and WOW! Sean went above and beyond for each of his customers. As many reviewers have said, he has deep knowledge and passion for Australia and it shows on every word he says. So many little things make this tour wonderful. The breakfast was great, Graham met us and made us all feel welcome and appreciated. Each stop along the way was exciting. We got to see Kangaroo in the wild. There is so much packed I to this tour but I never felt rushed. I will definitely tour with them again when I return to Sydney.
