I zeroed in on this trip because i was a bargain compared to other trips, but it turned out to be a great value for the money. It is a small boat so we were able to zoom through arches and into caves. The tour was exactly on schedule and the operators were skilled in handling the waves and tight spaces. Before taking this trip I was not even aware of the existence of the grottos. The came up in a discussion at breakfast and we immediately booked the tour so it was also easy to make reservations.Experienced boat captain made the trip fun while making us feel safe. He explained a lot of the features along the way and told us what each solitary rock in the water was named by locals. The other guide was very nice.

This is one of my favorite experiences in Portugal! Rui and Sandra did an amazing job showing us the golden coast! They were fun, light hearted and made the trip worthwhile! They also went above and beyond to see a dream fulfilled. I’m 2017 I had a dream about a Rock Formation I’m the ocean. I’m a Christian and felt this dream was from God. When I woke up, I googled limestone formations in the ocean and found the exact formation from my dream near Lagos. It was a confirmation for me that I needed to go to Portugal. I finally made it to Portugal this year and needed to see the formation. I told this story to Rui and Sandra and they took extra time to show me that specific rock formation. It meant so much to me that they did that. They were amazing guides, but also amazing people! Thank you Rui and Sandra! Many blessings to you both!The crew was very informative and creative. They explained upfront that it may not be possible to drive the boat into the caves. Safety was the highest priority. The tied was up and was a good call not to enter. My tour guide, Fia, was amazing and took a lot of nice pictures and also gave a detailed explanation of the different rocks/caves during the tour. I really enjoyed it and will highly recommend!
