From start to finish, this was an amazing tour to see the best of Bogota. We were picked up at our hotel by Luis Felipe, along with his brother/business partner. They had great suggestions for the day’s itinerary and we were happy to follow their expertise. We truly enjoyed our visit to Bogota. We originally booked an all-day tour of the city but when Luis Felipe arrived at our hotel, he informed us there would be a large peaceful student protest planned that day that would clog the downtown area and make travel difficult. Instead, he suggested an amended trip ... a visit to Monserrate to get an overview of the city and then a trip out to Zipaquirá. Though disappointed, we amended our plans and went with the flow and thoroughly enjoyed the things we saw. Luis Felipe clearly loves his country and knows a great deal about the culture, the people and the challenges facing Colombia. We enjoyed our time so much, we hired him to do an abbreviated tour of the things we originally wanted to see, the Gold Museum and La Candelaria, the next morning, then an airport transfer. The tour was informative and fascinating and Luis Felipe took care of all details, transportation, tickets, etc. Don't hesitate to book Bogota Driver Guide Service. You won't be disappointed. From the outset communication with Luis Felipe was nothing less than first class! All the information prior to arriving in Bogota was invaluable. From the outset communication with Luis Felipe was nothing less than first class! All the information prior to arriving in Bogota was invaluable. On arriving in Bogota the experience with Luis Felipe was second to none. He worked with my itinerary and around needing to have a few hours rest in a hotel prior to the tour starting. Luis Felipe's passion about his country is infectious and his knowledge is second to none. I was so impressed with the entire day in Bogota, I am planning my next trip back and will be certainly using Luis Felipe again! Worried about safety in Bogota, don't be! I felt 100% safe the entire time and actually Bogota could have been the capital of any western city across the global! At the end of the tour, Luis Felipe waited outside my hotel while I changed prior to taking me back to the airport to catch my flight back to LondonWhat a great tour!
