My wife and I were met by Peter and Jennifer at Brooke Street Pier and set off on our trip, visiting three distilleries and a vineyard for lunch. Peter is clearly passionate about the industry and focussed on ensuring his clients have a quality experience. He told us enough to give us an introduction to where we were visiting but gave plenty of room for the producers to talk about their products, processes and history - which they were all enthusiastic about too. We learnt a lot and had a wonderful day together - it felt more like a day with friends than an organised tour - which made the experience all the richer. There was no pressure to buy gin (though we did because well - Tassie gin and whiskey is pretty special). Lunch was also excellent. Thank you Peter and Jennifer for a day to remember in our home State.Great range of tastings and enjoyed the hosts insights, good to have a break from gin and learn about whisky and wines on the tour as well. However, can be better spaced as the afternoon was mainly driving due to the large driving gaps in between locations in the second half.

Our great guide, David, informed and entertained us throughout. The visits were ordered in a good progression of varied gin makers. David was very inclusive and educated us well for each visit without spoiling any of the great stories of the hosts. The day combined historic place and buildings with modern gin making. All up a great day out! Highly recommended.Great tour of 3 gin distilleries with wine tasting & lunch at Bangor. Great tour of 3 gin distilleries with wine tasting & lunch at Bangor. All of the fine makers were passionate about their craft and generous with sharing their knowledge and time as well as producing some very tasting gins. The scenery of Tasman Peninsula was a bonus and Peter a fantastic host. Highly recommended as a day out from Hobart.Where to begin, I can't say enough good things about this experience. If you love gin, gorgeous scenery, warm and friendly people and a casual laid-back vibe, then ponder no longer, and don't miss out on this experience! Book it now, you won't regret it. If you love gin, gorgeous scenery, warm and friendly people and a casual laid-back vibe, then ponder no longer, and don't miss out on this experience! Book it now, you won't regret it. We had the most spectacular day with Peter. He was fantastic, and he went out of his way to make our tour absolutely perfect. This experience turned out to be the greatest memory we are taking away from our recent trip to Tasmania. Our only regret is that we didn't purchase more of the delicious gin we sampled to take home with us. Thank goodness for online ordering. We'll definitely be booking another tour upon our next visit and we can't wait.Had a great day meeting the makers of some locally owned and run distilleries. Had a great day meeting the makers of some locally owned and run distilleries. Their enthusiasm and love of what they do really came thru. We not only got to taste some great gins, but also tried whiskey and other liquors. It was quite infectious. Local guide Patrick was also a wealth of knowledge. Local history and information on the area was fantastic. Only one problem the amount of gin we purchased!😂now just to get it home. Highly recommend for any gin lover out there.
