A brilliant way to spend an afternoon in Jerusalem! Jamie met me at my hotel and together with with my teenage son, took us on a fascinating tour of Jerusalem, including the different quarters and some of the most interesting religious and historical sights. He has a great personality and explained things on a appropriate level for both my son and I. Jamie was able to answer all our questions and we really felt he knew his stuff. I would highly recommend Jamie... You will not be disappointed! Our family of five (two adults, three kids 18,12 and 7) did a two day walking tour of the Old City and surrounding area with Emmanuel. Our family of five (two adults, three kids 18,12 and 7) did a two day walking tour of the Old City and surrounding area with Emmanuel. The whole experience was outstanding. Beginning with structuring our tour a couple of weeks out, he listened to what we wanted to do and offered suggestions. Then, the tour itself was great. Superbly paced with plenty of rest and shaded water breaks (crucial in the August heat), Emmanuel was knowledgeable, entertaining and kept the interest of such a diverse group. Jerusalem is a city with so much history and so many secrets and the right guide can be the difference between boredom and enlightenment. Emmanuel was just that guide. We enjoyed our tour so much that we booked him for a third day later in our trip for a "foodie tour" of the marketplace (Machane Yehuda), which was fantastic! If you need a tour guide, One Israel Tours is the company, and Emmanuel is the guide to book.Emmanuel is an exceptional tour guide who will take you to see places you may never have known existed!
