Bratislava Identity Bike Tour
Overview
Our bike tour takes you to the best cycling locations near the Bratislava city centre. After introduction in the Old Town, we cross the Danube river by iconic SNP bridge and enjoy splendid views to the main Bratislava city landmarks. We enjoy the chill of the oldest city park and head to the authentic communist-era housing estates of Petržalka.
The last part of the route leads us to the post-industrial modern riverside projects and the picturesque Blue Church. This intense bike tour shows you a full picture of Bratislava with its contrasts between medieval Old Town, Cold War history and the most recent developments.

In October 2022 I took the Bratislava Identity Bike Tour with Braňo, and close to a year later I still remember how fun it was! In a bit over 4 hours we cycled an easy 11 mi/18 km through Bratislava's Old Town and across the Danube to places such as old WWII military bunkers. Braňo was a very outgoing and entertaining guide, and the stories he told about Bratislava/Slovakia/Czechoslovakia were fascinating - not just your standard "This church was built by this king in year XXXX," but modern history, politics, and things to really give you a feel about what it's like to live/have lived in Bratislava. This bike tour was the best thing I did during my trip to Bratislava. I highly reccomend this bike tour as well as Authentic Slovakia as a company. If I were to ever take more day tours in the Bratislava area, I would definitely book another tour with them!Brano was a fun guide who tailored his talk to the guests' experience. It was a super cool tour through different areas of Bratislava. Meeting up was easy. Communication was top notch. The local treats were fun as well. Highly recommended.

We did a post communism tour with Authentic Slovakia, around 6yrs ago. We had Brano as our tour guide. We had a great tour back then. I reached out to Brano, about our upcoming trip to Europe, and us wanting to do a bike tour with him. Email communication with Authentic Slovakia was wonderful. We also wanted to add the 2hr Iron Curtain tour to the Identity bike tour. This was no problem. We agreed on an 11am start time. Some time before our tour, Brano sent us the details on where to meet up to start our tour. Meetup was easy, and in short order we were off on their very nice, comfortable bikes. Very new models too. Brano did a great job on this bike tour. We had so much fun, and learned so much too. I could go on and on. Our 4+hrs went very fast. Brano was once again a wonderful tour guide. I can almost guarantee that we will be back for a 3rd tour with Authentic Slovakia. My husband and I went on this tour. Brano took us on a 4 hour bike tour with multiple stops. We hope he visits us in The USA and we can show him around on a bike. A highlight of our two week long trip!Brano is a top guide!
