Itinerary
Day 1: Banyuwangi to ijen crater
Stop At: PARKIR PT. ASDP KETAPANG, Bulusan, VC22+835, Kalipuro, Lingkungan Tj., Klatak, Kec. Kalipuro, Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur 68421, Indonesia
we will pick you up here on the ferry port in java side or you can mention us wherever you want in Banyuwangi area

Day 2: Ijen Volcano to Mount Bromo
Stop At: Ijen Crater, Banyuwangi 68454 Indonesia
wake up at 12:00 to prepare for the ijen blue fire tour, breakfast can be taken and leave the hotel at 12:30 to Paltuding (ijen parking area).
Prepare to climb from there with your private guide along the track at night for 1.5 hours of hiking.
At the top of the mountain, you will enjoy the amazing natural phenomena of the ijen blue flame.
( Once you satisfied with the ijen blue flames taking pictures and any others thing, up again for sunrise spot, while waiting for sunrise you will get amazing views from various angles of Lake in Ijen Crater, Mount Ranti, and of course you will see ijen miners carrying sulfur on their shoulders, on average they can bring 70 kg to 120 kg per person with a salary of around 1, 000 rupiah/kg not up to USD$ 1/kg.
Finished with the Ijen tour,
returned to the parking to meet our driver there,
then proceed to the Bromo area for about 5-6 hour drive

Day 3: Mount Bromo to Surabaya
Stop At: Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, XXH2+7X4, Ranupani, East Java, Indonesia
Explore Bromo, sunrise also treking and drop Surabaya
get up early at 2:30 in the morning to prepare for a bromo sunrise tour,
3:00 a.m. You leave the hotel using the 4 WD Bromo Jeep to Mount Penanjakan
(view point 1) which is the highest peak in the region to take pictures and watch the sunrise. From the viewpoint of the most famous sunrise, you can see the highest mountain on Java Island, the Semeru volcano. Mount Semeru will emit smoke every 20 minutes.
Once satisfied with the sunrise, return to the jeep and will take you to the second location of Bromo Crater. Jeep will park 1 km before the crater of Mount Bromo. From the Jeep parking area, you can walk to go up the stairs.
Next, on Mount Bromo, you will pass 250 steps to the lip of the crater. After that,
return from the crater to the parking area.
The Jeep will take you to Savannah or the Teletubbies hill and continue to the last point of the tour, Whispering Sand.
Finally the jeep will take you back to the hotel, have breakfast, take a shower, pick up and
then head to Surabaya for about 3-4 hours drive

Super tolle Tour! Die Organisation im Vorfeld mit Benn per Whatsapp war sehr schnell und alle unsere Extrawünsche konnten erfüllt werden. Der Transport von Bali zur Fähre und weiter nach Java, war hervorrangt organisiert worden. Wir wurden immer sofort abgeholt und an den nächsten weitergereicht...
Super tolle Tour! Die Organisation im Vorfeld mit Benn per Whatsapp war sehr schnell und alle unsere Extrawünsche konnten erfüllt werden. Der Transport von Bali zur Fähre und weiter nach Java, war hervorrangt organisiert worden. Wir wurden immer sofort abgeholt und an den nächsten weitergereicht - total entspannt. In Java hat uns dann Chunk und sein Fahrer Wafa in Empfang genommen. Wir wurden auf Wunsch hin in ein Restaurant gebracht und danach ins Hotel. Hotel war top, nur leider sind wir erst sehr spät auf Java angekommen, so dass wir es nicht wirklich nutzen konnten, da die Tour um 1 Uhr nachts dort startet (ist aber unsere Schuld gewesen, weil zu spät in Bali gestartet). Die Tour auf den Ijen und der Abstieg in den Krater sind anstrengend, aber Chunk hatte sehr gut auf uns aufgepasst. Sein tiefes Wissen über den Schwefelabbau hat uns schwer beeindruckt (er selbst hat dort auch schon gearbeitet, sein Vater arbeitet noch dort). Alles Notwendige für die Tour hatte Chunk mitgebracht (Gasmasken, Taschenlampen, etc.). Da Chunk sehr gut Englisch spricht, haben wir in unserer Zeit mit ihm sehr viel interessante Sachen über Indonesien erfahren. Er hatte sich rührend um uns gekümmert, so dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Die Fahrt zum Bromo war angenehm, da unser Fahrer Wafa sehr sicher fuhr. Nur das Auto hätte für 4 + 2 Personen mit Rucksäcken etwas größer sein können. Das Hotel am Bromo hatte eine geniale Lage und die Aussicht war spektakulär. Dort wurden wir dann mit dem Jeep befördert und waren zum Sonnenaufgang am Sunrise Point. Später fuhren wir zum Bromo und konnten in den Krater schauen. Der Weitertransport zum Flughafen war auch dabei, so dass wir sehr entspannt dort ankamen. Vielen lieben Dank an Chunk, er hat uns ein paar unvergessliche Augenblicke beschert, die wir niemals vergessen werden!Astrid_fromberg

Tre veninder og jeg backpackede i Indonesien og bookede denne tur imens vi var i Jakarta. Chefen Ben var meget behjælpelig med alt ift booking og transport. Det var en kæmpe hjælp for os, da vi var langt fra Surabaya. Vores guide Samsul Chunk var mindst lige så sød og viste os alle de gode steder...
