While competitive in price for singles, group travel is more expensive as cab, but we are speaking of a couple of dollars. While the passenger numbers are rising and seats are normally spare, the A/C alone is a major pro. At Sathom station, there is a major hotel hub. Most of the better hotels and condos offer shuttle boats to and from there. Also, all major shopping center have BTS-connection.It is clean it is fast and air-conditioned and keep you away from street noise,smell and traffic which is paramount in Bangkok.
