I loved this tour! I learned a lot about the history of bucharest and the guide also lead us to a few unique spots I had missed walking around on my own. Andra was super friendly and knowledgeable and it was great hearing about her experiences. The meal was enormous, and very good.

If you happen to be in Bucharest and have a few hours to spare, definitely take this tour! Our guide Dana was very friendly and had good knowledge of the sights we saw in the city, including places I would not have known to see. She also had great recommendations for other places to see such as souvenir shops and buildings that we didn't see. The restaurant was great too - I always like to eat something traditional when I'm visiting a new city, so Dana let us know which dishes to order. Overall, I had a great tour in Bucharest and a fantastic Romanian lunch, and will use Bucharest Urban Adventures for future tours I do when I go to Romania again - hopefully soon!I signed up for the Markets and Muhallahs tour of Bucharest as a way to see areas of the city that were beyond what a typical city tour would include and I was not disappointed. I signed up for the Markets and Muhallahs tour of Bucharest as a way to see areas of the city that were beyond what a typical city tour would include and I was not disappointed. There are many hidden sights in the city that a tourist is just not likely to find on their own. From the tour description I had expected a few samples of the local delicacies but Monica went beyond my expectations with a stop at a pretty little coffee shop and then a huge picnic lunch at Obor Market.Anita is a wonderful guide who not only engaged us as adults but also took a 5 year old child on the wonderful journey and learnings of a incredible city rich in history and culture. The tour was well planned and at a comfortable pace.

I’ve done food tours in over 6 European countries and Dana is the best. She was very knowledgeable and very much aware of her audience. Enjoyed every minute of the tour.
