Extremely poor directions for location. Nobody in Cabo was aware of the location. Walked around for 45 minutes completely lost. Please use GPS to find location. Very few street signs.

Our instructor and host was Chef Issi. From the very start, he was friendly and hospitable. The class starts by stopping at several small markets to purchase the ingredients. Each person was given an assignment and instruction on what to select for the meal. While driving to the local stores to gather the ingredients, Issi also provided some local history of Cabo. The class itself, was held at Issi's house. The class started with the simple task of squeezing limes, for the margaritas, that would be available. After the first beverage, the drinks, were self serve. After the welcome cocktail, we started to prep the various ingredients, while Issi, was letting the proteins cook. Our class was a tamale session, which included chicken and pork fillings. We also made tortilla's with shrimp. Once the food was ready, the class enjoyed our homemade lunch. There were some leftovers, which we were allowed to take with us. Our class size was a total of 8 people. By coincidence, everyone was staying at the same resort, so Issi was nice enough, to take us there rather than back to the original pickup point. This was a great activity especially if you are with friends or even as a single participant. The price of the class was well worth it. Highly recommend Cookin Cabo. This was such a fun experience! This was such a fun experience! Our group of 6 met Carolina at the open air bar, from there she took us to get the produce to cook our menu. We decided on fresh Salsa, Guacamole and Chicken with Mole sauce, all made from scratch. Then it was back to Mama’s house (literally) where we made Margaritas with Bougainville flower tea (see picture) and then made the various dishes from scratch. It was amazing fun and we felt privileged to be in their home. Afterward Carolina Emailed us the recipes so we can try at home. Superb and would highly recommend
