Part of the traceability and culture of cocoa in Oaxaca is told.
We will take a short break with a cocoa-based sandwich, and to finish off a house drink.
It lasts approximately 2 hours.
Ideal for families, vegans and anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the culture of chocolate.

This was a highlight of our trip! A memorable night of learning about the different beans, ways to mix them to produce a variety of chocolates and tasting them all! Diego was a super host.

Outstanding artisanal organic cacao tasting, very knowledgeably presented. Like, seriously artisanal - these folks are from one of the villages where the cacao is grown, and personally know the people who grow, harvest and prepare the cacao. The drinking chocolate is served in fun, locally made chips and pitchers. Very friendly, good English presentation if you need that. Highly recommend!Ruth and Lupita were wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about cacao and chocolate (we learned from Ruth, cacao and chocolate are NOT the same product…Thanks Ruth!). Ruth and Lupita were wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about cacao and chocolate (we learned from Ruth, cacao and chocolate are NOT the same product…Thanks Ruth!). We learned about the process used to turn cacao pods into delicious cacao and then chocolate. We tried many different cacao and chocolate products, including a very unique “sandwich” and dessert. This was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this class to anyone remotely interested in cacao or chocolate.I cannot express how incredible this experience was in Oaxaca City. Thus was a wonderful experience! Our "guide" was very knowledgeable in the history, culture, and making of chocolate. His Spanish was easy to understand and he spoke to us in English if we needed clarification. We felt this company went above and beyond to give us an excellent experience.
