The best day of our week-long visit to Napa and San Francisco. We'd done a winery tour with a driver the day before and it was a bit overwhelming for a wine novice. Biking with Randy was great, as he pointed out a ton of things besides just the vineyards and the ride was easy but at a pace that kept it fun. At each winery, it was like having an old friend along to share the experience; we enjoyed talking to Randy as much as we did learning about the wines. If you can make Envy one of the stops, the staff there were just as friendly and fun as Randy.My friends and I did a sip and cycle with Don as our guide. He was funny, engaging and knowledgeable. We wanted to do a different wine tour to the usual and so glad we did this one. Firstly, Alex our guide was super friendly and helpful, knowledgable but not a wine snob in an intimidating way. He selected 3 wineries that were different so we had a real contrast in our tour. Our favourite was definitely Bennett Lane, where Alex also sorted a lovely lunch in a great setting.
