I joined this hike to spend some much needed time with my best friend. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. To hike through the most beautiful country in the world was breathtaking. Beaches, bush, rocks and giant trees of the forrest, we got it all. We had undulating hills, we had spectacular scenery just around the corner, we had blue sky and just a little bit of sea spray. Each day was filled with laughter and joy and in no time the daily destination was not far! We hiked with a fabulous group of wonderful women who have now become my new friends. Heidi, Andrew and Tracy went above and beyond as guides and owner operators with love, enthusiasm, encouragement and passion for their job and their people. The accomodation was gorgeous, the breakfast baskets, daily lunches, and great variety of dinners was delicious and they catered for everyone’s fancies. I would 100% recommend anyone and everyone to join this amazing group for fun and adventure. I didn’t even know Cape to Cape was on my bucket list, but after achieving it, I can not wait for the next journey with OTBT to begin.Sometimes an event goes beyond offering a great customer experience and makes a powerful emotional connection. Sometimes an event goes beyond offering a great customer experience and makes a powerful emotional connection. This was my experience over the time OTBT guided us through the Cape to Cape. We we a diverse group in every way, and yet Heidi, Andrew and Tracey found a way to make us all want to do it all over again. Watch out OTBT, I will be back and bringing some of my mates - you guys were spectacular.Last week, I was fortunate to join OTBT on their 7 day Cape to Cape journey. Last week, I was fortunate to join OTBT on their 7 day Cape to Cape journey. While the track itself highlights the spectacular South West coastal cliffs, sand dunes, beaches and forests, our guide, Andrew, added to this experience with his knowledge of local history, culture, flora, fauna, and his sense of humour! Off the track, Tracy ensured our week was perfect with amazing food; from indulgent breakfast baskets, local restaurants, home cooked meals for bath and PJ nights, impromptu brekkie at the bakery to unexpected cheese boards, fruit platters and bubbles with choccies popping up along our walk. Our accommodation was extremely comfortable, the massage after day 4 relaxing and the playlist on the bus fantastic. As a solo hiker, I felt part of this family for the week, sharing much fun and laughter and making many memories (captured and shared in over 350 photos on our return). Thank you Tracy and Andrew for a wonderful adventure - I'm still smiling! The outstanding and varied scenery encountered on our hike was greatly enhanced by the special touches that Off The Beaten Track (OTBT) brought to this tour. The OTBT team set out to make this an unforgettable journey off and on the track and they nailed it. I loved every moment.
