Kudos to her and her assistant, who was integral in her successful teaching of the class. This is a must-do, when in Cartagena. The sit-down and socialize over a glass of your preferred beverage is a really nice touch. Buen Provecho!Such a fun way to experience Colombian culinary culture, meet fun people and eat delicious food! The kitchen and dining room has a great ambience and we loved our chef that kept us entertained all night.

She made the class easy and exciting for my party of 4. I would definitely book another class with her and her family. Her Husband held a rum and chocolate tasting class right after. I wish I would have booked that as well.

We were really looking forward to this class and it did not disappoint. Our chef, Maria, was delightful. Very knowledgeable on ceviche preparation. She would explain and briefly demonstrate what we needed to do and directed us to complete the tasks. All of the ingredients were very fresh. We made the shrimp and snail cocktail first. We then prepared the ceviche. As the fish was “cooking” from the salt and lime, we worked on the sauce and toppings. When the two dishes were ready, we moved to the table to enjoy our masterpieces with a nice white wine. Next, we created the green mango calamari and sweet mango desert. We broke up into a few groups to complete our assigned tasks. When finished, we moved to the table to enjoy our creations with some more wine. The class was great. The food was delicious. The other class members were very friendly and entertaining. The preparation of these dishes is quite easy once you know the secrets. If you have ever wanted to know how to create ceviche, this is the class to take.Fun class, great view, knowledgeable and friendly instructor/restaurant owner, good group of guests and really good food. We all had to work together for the second half of the class as if we were running a restaurant, it was a really clever way of teaching the recipes. At home I have already made the shrimp cocktail she taught us to make! I would definitely take the class again. This was an experience I’ll remember for a lifetime. This was an experience I’ll remember for a lifetime. Not because of the food but because of the beautiful people and environment and the opportunity to learn from Jasmine and Jesus about Colombia, culture and traditional dishes. The studio is immaculate and has an amazing view of Castillo San Felipe. Great vibe and ambiance that I wish I found it sooner to hang with friends. I actually scheduled the tour based off a review I saw a few months bag on Instagram! The cooking class was so much fun, high quality ingredients and a variety of calamari , snails, shrimp and vegan options as I learned to make different ceviches, paired with great wine and a cool refreshing drink to great me. I high recommend this experience they have a variety of options that they are teaching at different times of day and you can always say you cooked with a top instructor/chef in Cartagena! Thank you so much and I can’t wait to come back and do it again!
