Rossa was a wonderful host. She was very helpful and explained the process and we had a great time making different types of pasta. Rossa and her cat Tony were a treat to get to know. I can make pasta now!

We had a wonderful time cooking with Saverio! He was gracious, informative, funny and a great chef. He welcomed us into his and Elena's beautiful home as if we were old friends. We made three dishes (tortelloni, passatelli and gnocchi). We enjoyed fabulous antipasti, bread and tiramisu (the best ever!) that Saverio prepared for us. Dinner was served on their rooftop terrace with an incredible view of the city at sunset. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn more about Bologna, its history and cuisine from a local expert! Oriana is the very best of Italians- warm, welcoming, enthusiastic, and deeply passionate about food and cooking. Our evening with her in her beautiful apartment was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We had a huge amount of fun, learned a lot, and thoroughly absorbed her love of Italy and its food. Sitting down to dinner (and lots of wine!) after our class, we felt like old friends. It really was a once in a lifetime experience and we feel incredibly lucky to have been matched with Oriana!A fantastic class! Alessandra is a patient and interesting teacher, very welcoming and full of information. The menu was well chosen and the class well paced. We left with skills we can use at home.
