Our trip inside the theatre was very memorable. The tour was well organized and safe. We also enjoyed going inside the gunpowder storage building, as well as the rainbow homes.

I'd booked in advance but received a text to offer me an alternative slot as the weather forecast was bad for our booked time. We took up the offer and did the tour in the morning with Kay. She's very bubbly and friendly - she seemed to know half the town! - and extremely knowledgable. This was a great introduction to the city, with lots of history, some architectural facts, cultural information and all overlaid with a lot of humour. The length of the tour was just about right and I thought the price was fair. We re-visited some of our favourite areas the next day when the sun came out! Definitely recommended. No real one item that stood out. The whole tour was excellent. Our guide even provided some suggestions for me to follow up with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour guided by Dennis. As first time visitors to Charleston from Seattle we covered a lot of significant local historical information, we were in awe of the amazing buildings and homes of Charleston and enjoyed learning from Dennis as he welcomed our questions and bantered with the locals during the 2 hour tour. After the tour we drove back through the area to revisit some our our favorites and purchased a basket from Mildred a Gullah basket maker - A Delightful Time, Thank You Dennis!
