The best day in Morocco!Had a great day trip to Chefchaouen with Omar. He made a 3 hour drive seem like nothing. He was so accommodating, kind, and interactive. We had coffee, learned about the land we were traveling. I would definitely recommend Omar as a driver. He made the day amazing

Be prepared for a couple of stops at tourist traps en route to the hike—don’t buy if you don’t want to. We went on market day—the market was scraggly and very much local food and household shopping. Our guide spoke serviceable English. We had a delicious home-cooked meal at our guide’s home for 300 MAD for 2 people. It was a beautiful day and a great change-up from touring the cities. We were so fortunate to have book led a tour with this company. We were so fortunate to have book led a tour with this company. From the pickup by Muhammad to our final drop off by our driver Karim we were treated with deep warmth, care, and a genuine desire for us to love the riches that Morocco has to offer. The drive to Chechaouen is about 3.5 hours with a couple of stops along the way to stretch your legs, get a coffee/mint tea, and grab some pics. The countryside is the real show stopper. Even though most of the harvest has already happened the vista of this rolling hills gives you a deep appreciation for how connected to the land are the people of this country. Karim was able to stop on the roadside and allow us to eat some cactus fruit from a women selling by the side of the road which was a really unique taste that was different with eat bite. Chefchaouen is quite lovely, clearly an Instagram haven, the colors of the city are quite bold and it’s history is is both rich and complex. We ate at the restaurant recommended by Karim and it was perfect for us. On the ride back we took an off highway road that went out into the countryside, the smell of mint floating on the air. We actually got to hop out the car and walk into the field to grab a sprig and take in that sharp sweetness. Karim exuded a deep pride for his country in every smile and story.Mohammed was really nice with us, he explained us very well before to buy. He speaks french and spanish and maybe more. Mohammed was really nice with us, he explained us very well before to buy. He speaks french and spanish and maybe more. The conductor was really nice with us too. He stopped the car for my girlfriend who was a little bit ill before the trip. He drived us to the fez's bus station at the end of the day because we wanted to take a bus later. I recommend them to everyone who want to go to Chefchaouen, a beautiful city that you can visit in some hours for me.My friend and I, took a day trip to Chefchaouen.
