Amazing all-inclusive day trip to Chichén Itza, The Mayan temple was so impressive and was the main reason for my booking the day-trip - but I was blown away by the following stop to go swimming at the cavernous pool and waterfall at Cenote Saamal - definitely a must-do! If you have a day free while in Cancun I can’t recommend this trip enough - it’s a busy day but well worth it. It was a very hot day but we got water and could rent an umbrella at the start to keep us comfortable. Get ready to sweat and be amazed. The cenote is a lovely addition to cool down. Caesar saw right away we were one of the first buses to arrive at the cenote so he recommended we swim first and the eat. My sister and I had a lovely time and would recommend this tour.Cesar and Edward were awesome! Interactive excursion that you have the option to give it your own spin. Had a great time! Our tour guide, Antonio, was the best. He had a great background on the history of the Mayans and their rituals and the reasons for the temples being built. The bus driver stopped on the highway on the way because he saw a flock of toucans he thought we’d like to see ( he was right). The cenote was amazing and came with a free lunch. The lunch was free. That’s about the best thing I can say about it. That’s not on the tour company. The cenote people run the restaurant. The tour folks provided us cold water, fruit juice and snacks as well. We finished out the day at Coba ruins which were a neat experience. They are in the jungle and they have bikes and trikes to rent. Bring extra cash. Overall this is a good trip.
