We enjoyed this as it gave us an understanding of the activities and places that we should visit. We could then decide on what we had time to see from our very short visit

There are two routes for the hop on hop off tour but the one ticket covers both. We found it ideal to stay on for the one hour round trip to see the sights before going around a second time to hop on and off at the stops we wanted to see. Well worth the ride. The second route is on a smaller mini bus, probably needed as it travels down narrow streets compared to the big double decked red bus.The tour isn’t long, you can do it on foot but it was worth doing to get the come try on the old city sites

The Hop on Hop off Bus Tour is a great way to familiarise yourself with Verona and all it's major landmarks. The buses run fairly frequently and are clean and well maintained, overall we thought it offered good value for money. We would certainly use the City Tours when visiting any other European destinations. We only had a day in Verona. Although this is no way to travel, we chose the hop on hop off tour as a way to see and do all that we could. We were not disappointed. Everything about the locations, the bus, the tour, and the city was easy. We loved Verona!

Verona is a compact city, surrounded by the old city walls and river. It takes no more than 20 mins to walk from one side of the city to the other. The hop-on, hop-off city bus tour consists of two routes, each of which run hourly. A significant part of the routes overlap, which leads to a repetitive commentary in parts of the journey. Unless you have difficulty in walking, my advice would be to list the places you wish to see and walk. This is the poorest city tour I have experienced and I would suggest you could spend your €20 better.
