A really excellent way to get to understand the religious influences at play throughout Cordoba's interesting history. Angel was an exceptional guide whose smooth delivery informed and guided us through the interplay between the Jewish, Muslim and Christian communities. Angel offered insights that aren't found in any one guidebook. The tour made our visit to Cordoba very worthwhile. Thank you!Don't bother with an organized tour. It just means being in a large crown in a small space. Better to go on your own,early morning. If your British it is free entry and you can read on the walls everything a guide talks about. 15 minutes is more than enough time for this visit.

This was one of the best guided tours we have ever undertaken. Paqui was an exceptional guide versed in history art and botany. Her English was excellent. Her passion for Cordba was evident. Most of the time when we visit a historical site we don’t spend time looking at the statues. But she made the history come alive by showing us statues of the people who made it happen. She wove stories into the narrative in a way that made it fun to listen to. We were able to skip the line at the Alcazar. We first toured the gardens. As we enter the buildings she wove the history of Roman occupation into her story right up to the modern times. At the Jewish quarter We visited the synagogue. She showed us on her phone pictures of what it must’ve looked like in the original time. The cathedral mosque was every bit as outstanding as the photos show. It is hard to comprehend how huge it is. Once again she was able to explain how it evolved Over a period of centuries from a Christian temple site to Muslim mosque to a Christian church. She has a clear command of the history and is an exceptional storyteller. She encouraged questions and answered them clearly. The coach bus was clean, arrived at exactly the right time and comfortable. The pickup for return was easy.Angel was knowledgeable and personable. He clarified the various layers of Cordoba history without being text book.
