Stop At: Reykjavik Sightseeing, Reykjavik Iceland
We will start the tour from the Reykjavík Terminal in Skógarhlíð 10, 105 Reykjavík. If you have chosen pick up you will be picked up 30 min prior departure time and brought to the terminal where we will start the tour. We will head out approx 40 min ride from Reykjavík to the countryside to one of our great spots to see the northern lights. The location depends on the forecast that particular day.

We were so luck to see northern light after a rainy day and with level 2. They tool us nearly 45 min away from city center and we walked 5 min to seaside. Anyone who want could stay in bus. Tour guide give details to take a good photo and help us to adjust cameras and phones. They also took our photos with their cameras free but the lights was not seen in ours but it is probably because of that lights are not so visiable. Our child slept over and stayed at bus with her father. We had enough time and we change duties with him and he experinced. We did this tour for the first time with violet but sadly the clouds meant the lights were rather underwhelming. She offered to get photos of us all the same and was very polite, they stayed out for an extra hour to try and get us to see them. We went back for free the next night with Stephen as our guide. The weather conditions meant the lights were much more visible. He spoke to us the whole way there about how the lights are formed and various funny tales which made the 45min bus ride go very quickly. So...i went on the northern lights tour on early February, it was a cold night with clear skies and no wind. The Yoyo the guide and Tarek the driver were really nice and kept us alert and ready for the show. Yoyo did explain to us in advance that this I really a numbers game, and maybe we will not be able to see the lights. Yoyo kept us having fun during the night while we were waiting with fun facts regarding the lights and how they happen. Fun fact I learnt from Yoyo was that there is a star named Betelgeuse in the sky. I did not get the chance to see the lights on my day out. 😫 but I have to say that Yoyo the guide kept me smiling and laughing throughout the night. His laughter is super infectious so hearing him laugh instantly made my mood better. In summery : No lights, amazing guide, terrific driver. Thanks Yoyo the guide and Reykjavik sightseeing. Oh oh, forgot to say, he told us about his IG account RealMundiRiki and wow, funny videos I have seen 🤣🤣🤣Even though we didn't get to see the lights (better luck next time!) We had great laughs all around and ultimately weren't that disappointed that we didn't see any lights. The company even offered us to free tickets for the next northen lighs tour of our choosing, any time we want to. We'll probably see the lights next time, hopefully Yoyo we'll be our guide once again.
