Trâm guided us on a tour across the country side and onto the island Cam Kim. It was an easy ride and an awesome experience. We were a small group of just our family of four. We had lunch at a family place with simple yet very delicious food. It was also fun to get a quick bucket boat lesson! And we visited a farmer with a rice wine distillery and ladies weaving the traditional sleeping matts. While riding we made short stops and Trâm showed and explained life in Vietnam, vegetation, and animals. We were also served plenty of water along the ride that was done at an easy pace. I highly recommend the bicycle tour as you will see the beauty of Vietnam/ Hoi An very differently.Highly recommend this bike tour thru the rice paddies and pretty countryside outside Hoi An. Highly recommend this bike tour thru the rice paddies and pretty countryside outside Hoi An. The tour guides were GREAT-- Despite this being a flat and easy ride, my husband and I both managed to fall--me right into a rice paddy. Our wonderful guides Lola and Lucky were on the spot, saving my phone, bandaging my husband's knee, and keeping us laughing the whole day. I also appreciated that we got to see local artisans at work, without any pressure (or even opportunity) to buy. Just a chance to learn! We loved it.Professional, well organised, fantastic itinerary. Professional, well organised, fantastic itinerary. Tram was gorgeous! Her knowledge, interactions and cheeky sense of humour made the day so much fun! Very easy cycling, lots of stops and so much to see and do. The bikes were in great condition and the countryside was quiet and beautiful. Loved seeing all the children who ran out to wave to us. Too many highlights to pick one but we had many belly laughs on the basket boat! This tour was one of the best tours we did in Vietnam. Great value for money and we have already recommended to friends travelling soon. This was a wonderful experience, a gentle, relaxing morning on a private tour with Pascale to a neighbouring island, reached by a small ferry. This was a wonderful experience, a gentle, relaxing morning on a private tour with Pascale to a neighbouring island, reached by a small ferry. So peaceful cycling through the rice fields and small neighbourhoods and seeing various local crafts, with no pressure to buy, even trying my hand in small coracle on the river. Friendly and informative and thoroughly enjoyable.Friendly guides, very attentive, regularly offering us water to drink. Went to some lovely countryside. Friendly guides, very attentive, regularly offering us water to drink. Went to some lovely countryside. Bit disappointed we only cycled what was apparently 10k in a 7 hour tour. I should have checked how much actual cycling there was before I booked. Interesting to hear about various local crafts and see people working. Visited two shops for a while but no pressure to buy anything. Stopped a little place mid morning where we could buy drinks and snacks. Drinks were available to buy to accompany lunch. For lunch, we had the choice of fish (mackerel), chicken or tofu, and I chose the fish. It was rather overcooked, tough and lacking in flavour, and served with plain rice and Morning Glory vegetables. I was a bit disappointed it was not up to the amazing standard of so much food in Vietnam. But what made it odder was when the two guides sat next to me, with the mackerel but also prawns, pork and Okra - not just more food on their plates but a wider variety. The prawns looked tasty. It was strange that the guides cheerfully told us about the different food they were eating. Given the trio cost about £25, the lunch we were given (main course plus fruit), was quite poor in my view. When I asked the company owner about the guides' lunch afterwards, he said he liked them to be able to have different food each day. Good to know they are looked after, but if they are going to have nicer food than the customers, maybe they could not eat it with them?! Or at least offer the customers the same food. I am not sure how easy it would have been to cycle to rice fields like we went to on my own with free bikes from the hotel, but on reflection, I wish I had just tried to do this. If you want a very easy cycle ride, and do not mind having a simple lunch, this is a good trip.We had one of the best experiences of our Vietnam holiday. A few hours of fun which included some very interesting visits to local villagers and their crafts. Tram was a brilliant guide and made the experience even more enjoyable. I will totally recommend her and the tour.
