Cruise was well organised, the captain was generous in stopping for us to see the penguins, waterfalls, seals and surprise pod of dolphins. Very informative and gorgeous scenery. Glad I went after lots of rain as we saw about 20 waterfalls when there's usually only 2 in the dry season.

I'm happy to have chosen a small boat, it allowed us to go as close as possible to the waterfalls. And i really like to have a full feminin crew on board even the skipper, it’s still quite rare. After a bigger cruise company cancelled days before our tour, we were left with few options however it was a blessing in disguise when I stumbled upon Cruise Milford and their impressive reviews. The cruise itself was amazing, definitely providing a more intimate and close up experience of the Fiord. Lots of space to move around inside and out on the deck, able to get some fantastic shots without having to fight for space, clean and comfortable boat and staff were friendly with great insight of the history of Milford. Not only that but the customer service through TripAdvisor was five stars. The road to Milford Sound was closed the day prior due to avalanche risk and the company contacted us straight away to advise of a new time and when I had questions/concerns they responded quickly and provided helpful options. Highly recommend to choose Cruise Milford for your next Milford Sound adventure! What an amazing experience! It was the highlight of our trip to the South Island. What an amazing experience! It was the highlight of our trip to the South Island. I'd recommend going early and having time to stop and see some of the amazing scenery on the drive to Milford Sound. Things didn't go smoothly to start off with as the only road into and out of Milford sound was initially closed due to risk of avalanche. You can see the status of the road with a quick google search. Fortunately Rebecca from their call centre was amazing and kept us informed of how to adjust our plan and we worked out a suitable solution for a later departure time. She was very responsive and a credit to this company. We must be really lucky because the weather was beautiful and the voyage was amazing. Very friendly staff and Ben the Skipper even let my young son sit on the skippers seat which he absolutely loved! Very friendly commentary and good insight into Milford Sound's history. All of the staff were awesome! Highly recommend and the trip of a lifetime.Great experience for the family to explore this area the drive was amazing to drop by some photo point next time will stay overnight rather make a day trip though
