Luis was a very knowledgeable and informative guide. In the two hour tour we saw all of the important spots in historic Oaxaca. He also gave us insights into the Mexican and Zapotec cultures. A bonus was two celebrations that we were able to witness during our tour. Music, dancing, fireworks and lots of frivolity. We also visited a Mescal tasting shop and were introduced to the method of harvesting and distilling Oaxacan’s favorite alcoholic beverage. This is an awesome tour. Luis is a very knowledgeable and personable guide. His insights brought the City to life for us as he seamlessly wove together the history and traditions of Oaxaca and the region. Highly recommended.
