We had a wonderful time. Both, the San Pedro market tour and the cooking class were fantastic. We met at the market and Jesus explained everything about Peru and the food, the influences of Asia etc. At some stands we could try and there I had the best chocolate in my life. The cooking class itself was in a nice setting and we prepared very yummy food and a Pisco Sour. In the end we got the recipies from all we cooked. Don't eat before the class, it's a lot of food :) Jesus - you are doing a very nice job!It was fantastic! The guide was excellent and all dishes were perfect! It included a nice tour of the market and then a cooking class.

I took a market tour and cooking class with Chef Jesus in April 2022. I met him and a few other people taking the same class as me at the San Pedro Central Market at 3pm. Jesus then walked our group through the market, talking about the different types of produce, grains, and foods that can be found in Peru. We also got to sample some of the produce and cheeses that Jesus talked to us about. After the market tour, Jesus took us to his cooking studio a few blocks away, where we used the produce we bought at the market to make ceviche, pisco sours, a quinoa risotto, a cheesy potato gratin, and a fruit based dessert. Overall, this tour was well worth the money and I would recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in cooking or food!Jesús’s class was such a blast!
