Excellent experience with our guide Salwa who has a wealth of knowledge of the Egyptian history. Took great photos for us all along the way.We had a wonderful day tour with Mostafa in the east and west side of Luxor. He was super informative and also extremely patient with our two small kids (1 and 4). Would highly recommend using Emo Tours for a fun filled and well structured day exploring a fascinating part of the world.

The guide we had for our tour (Ahmed Omar) to East Bank was probably one of the best guides I’ve ever had when it comes to actual knowledge of the site. I’m not just talking about the best guide in Egypt, I would say top 3 guides I’ve ever had anywhere, and I’ve travelled to over 30 countries and have taken more than one tour in each. During a lot of tours you can tell the guides just have surface knowledge. Ahmed-Omar has way more than that and literally had an answer for every question we asked that wasn’t just some short vague explanation. It was refreshing when coming to a site that has soooo much history. Karnak Temple and Luxor are amazing places and we got plenty of time at each site. We started later in the day at about 11:00am which turned out to be the perfect time because we had much of the sites to ourself. As we were entering Karnak Temple most people were leaving. We also never felt rushed. With tours, that’s always my number one concern, but Ahmed gave us all the time we needed. Our guide Ahmed Omar was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable - his passion for the subject matter is very evident and he gladly answered all my (sometimes silly) questions.
