Customizable Food Tour of Palermo Viejo
Overview
We start with what used to be the doorway to Buenos Aires, after a short typical Porteño breakfast.
The city’s parks and tree-lined boulevards were first inspired and planned from this area, and that curiously enough is home to one of the continent’s oldest monuments.
You will sample Argentina’s famous steak in a non-touristy location, as well as relish the emblematic Argentine sandwich along with a variety of local favorite appetizers and snacks.
One of our food stops has a craft beer option, and we can also add a wine tasting, if you like, in the middle of all of that food.
While walking from one place to the next we will have some time to admire local street art. This is a tour that you experience with all of your senses and you will enjoy plenty of picture taking opportunities.

We do food tours wherever we go as we love being introduced to the culture of the city and the places we would never find on our own. This was a great tour with the chance to "socialize" with our guide and to try local dishes. To me, this is always more fun than sitting on a tour bus pointing at buildings It is about food , culture and meeting the people who live there. We were taken to the botanical gardens, to street art and a craft fair as well as 6 food stops. Loved it.I very satisfied with the tour experience. Agustin, the guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. I very satisfied with the tour experience. Agustin, the guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. Food choices were great and the walk around Palermo was ideal for burning off the calories consumed. I enjoyed seeing the street art in the neighbourhood and walking through the parks. Communication with Frank, the tour operator, was excellent. A pleasant surprise was receiving digital copies of photos taken by Agustin during the tour. I was the only person on the tour and the 6 hours was well spent.Wonderful walking tour with a little bit of everything! History, sights, animals, food, drink and sweets! I can't imagine anything being better. Augustin was awesome and was extremely knowledgeable about Argentina's past and present! If you are looking at this tour, I say do it!

Great tour!!! We walked, ate, and drank our way through beautiful Palermo trying out various local foods and drinks. We also learned some history of Argentina while stopping at different historical landmarks around the area. Frank was an exceptional guide who made the experience so fun and so memorable!!What had such an amazing time and each stop along the tour was well thought out and they were places we would have never thought to go ourselves. Augustine was so gracias and knowledgeable beyond the food but some of the history of the city as well. I would highly recommend this tour.
