That was pure gift of Guatemala. That was pure gift of Guatemala. One morning we decided to explore Guatemala. In two days we were on a plane to Guatemala City. We found Bayron through Trip advisor. We gave extremely time limited conditions and broad list of intentions. Bayron was able to put our journey together in one day with courteous polite driver Marlin. We explored beautiful colorful buildings of Antigua with walking tour guide . Got breeze of lake Attitan with Maya language, traditions and fashion with Maya tour guide. Flyed to tallest pyramids in America to Tical. We saw monkeys , anteaters and colorful turkeys very close. We spent day on a Isle of Flores to swim in a warm Pitan lake and eat authentic tortillas with fresh guacamole and drink salty spicy lemon ice. All restaurants were arranged for delicious candle light dinners in Spanish old courtyards. Choices of hotels were exquisite! We concluded our tour with drive through dramatic of Guatemala City Covid test was arranged to return to US. My best life memories are in Beautiful Guatemala now. We would like to come back to Marlin and Bayron to learn Spanish now.

We had an awesome experience hiking and enjoying the views. Saul picked us up from the hotel on time. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. He was pleasant and drove safely. Cesar, our guide was excellent. He shared interesting information about the volcano, local customs, and traditions. We took rest stops as needed. He did not rush us. We had plenty of opportunities to take pictures and videos. Recommend good hiking shoes. The trail is mostly loose gravel and can get steep in some areas. We started early, around 8:30am- not many hikers yet. A memorable experience. Highly recommend Cesar and this tour company. We left from Antigua and our driver was friendly and knowledgeable and stopped in a small village on the way for us to take pictures. We left from Antigua and our driver was friendly and knowledgeable and stopped in a small village on the way for us to take pictures. He would have made additional stops as well upon request. The guide, Cesar, was very interesting and gave a wonderful look into the lives of Guatemalen people, as well as gave good information on the local flora, fauna and volcanos (recent and prior eruptions and lava flows). Great trip.
