We really enjoyed the tour, Sale put in 110%. Very eventful tour with a lot of activities that leave great memoriesThis was a nice full-day tour with well thought out stops. The tour operation seemed to be first-class. We would use this tour company again. Having said that, our driver spoke too much, told stories that were inappropriately personal, and pushed for a large tip at the conclusion.

We love our trip to Hana and really appreciate the hard work and narrative from our driver "Sally". It is really impressive to think about someone who makes the difficult drive everyday for a living. One recommendation I would make is to maybe eliminate some of the stops that seem repetitive to allow some more time at the beach and waterfall. Overall I recommend anyone to just sit back and relax watching the scenery, listening the information from a local expert, and not to stress with the drive. It is not worth it to drive it yourself, but it is a unique experience of getting to know Maui. Before the lunch our driver Henry (good guy) found out that the car’s back frame was broken(cracked), it wasn’t shiny, so he figured it must have been cracked for some days and wasn’t checked properly. Before the lunch our driver Henry (good guy) found out that the car’s back frame was broken(cracked), it wasn’t shiny, so he figured it must have been cracked for some days and wasn’t checked properly. We were abandoned with another family for about three hours and almost missed our flight back to Honolulu. Finally when the driver got there he wanted to continue the trip but it was too late and decided to take a u-turn route and came back. It took him sometime to contact his boss as she was adamant that he finishes the tour even it was late we were frustrated and getting late to airport. The other driver who carried us for 20 minutes to lunch and 10 minutes from lunch to black sand beach in Hana seat my 17yrs old boy on the cooler in the front so he could have another elderly passenger it It. But he could’ve taken us on the tour when the other passenger wanted to stay back with his two sons instead he was abandoning us there but the other family was frustrated with them two days in a row and they stayed with us as well. So it was nothing as promised, the company lacks customer service and safety. We started out early from our resort and were a little late being picked up. We started out early from our resort and were a little late being picked up. The Continental Breakfast was a very short stop and not very impressive. All was made up for during the next 9 hours. Our guide Larry was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining and clearly enjoyed sharing the experience and stories of the Hana areas. His comments about history and folklore certainly added to the experience as a whole. He pointed out the gorgeous plants and flowers of the rainforest. Do not miss the chance to swim (or jump if you chose) the waterfalls at Pua'a Ka'a State Park. An invigorating experience not to be missed. Wear water shoes, lots of underwater rocks. The lava tube and black sand beach at Wai'anapanapa State Park was also another of the many great stops. Lunch at Hana Farms was excellent and worth the small upcharge so we didn't have to pack or worry about food along the way. Bring cash to buy locally handmade art ( jewelry and baskets). My wife loves the handmade basket signed by Rosella with her signature, a rose made out of palm fronds. The vehicle was comfortable and most important was we were so very glad we decided not to try and drive this ourselves. Much of the drive was one lane bridges and a large chunk was dirt roads and there was no cell signal so if you got into trouble you will be on your own. Not a cheap tour but a full day of adventures and learning.
