Deep connection to the Amazon - Discover Rio Negro communities departing from Manaus

In 8 days, you will experience the full magnitude of the Amazon Rainforest, on the banks of the Negro River, and interact with the local culture in the Nossa Senhora de Perpétuo Socorro community, located on the Acajatuba Lake.

This expedition is an invitation to a deep dive into nature. You will watch the sunrise from canoes, interact with pink river dolphins, hike through the forest, observe the Amazon sky from the middle of the river and swim in the largest freshwater basin in the world.

From a cultural perspective, you will learn about the management of manioc and the process of making flour and tucupi. You will taste real açai, straight from the palm tree and learn to dance carimbó. Taste the desserts made with Amazonian ingredients and participate in handicraft workshops with local seeds and cosmetics from the forest.

Day 1: Our arrival day in Manaus!

Arrive any time, check-in is available from 2pm onwards at the hotel. Day 2: Arriving in Acajatuba Lake

Stop At: Caboclos House Ecolodge, Comunidade Santo Antônio, S/N Lago de Acajatuba - Iranduba, AM, 69005-100, Brazil
After breakfast, we will begin our journey to the Acajatuba Lake region, first by van, then in canoes. When arriving at the community, we will be welcomed with a delicious regional lunch. This will be our place of accommodation. Run by members of the community, our hosts offer us a very friendly stay.

Day 3: Jungle surviving techniques and Amazonian Stargaze
