AJ was the perfect guide, we learnt so much and we now have a better understanding . I was very reluctant to visit a “slum” , it felt wrong for many reasons. But for one thing this word doesn’t exist in Hindi. All Our preconceptions vanished, and we had a true insight into this fascinating community . I can honestly say that I felt safer there than on the streets in London or Paris. The people were very welcoming . Don’t miss the Dharavi handbag shop. Thank you AJ 😊🧡Two friends from Australia. Tour with Mystical Mumbai with tour guide Raj (excellent guide, recommend highly). Took us to both a commercial area and residential area of the slum. Fantastic tour to see how everything operated.
