The diamond circle was a memorable tour and one of my most interesting days in Iceland. The sun shone. The puffins flew and the rainbows drifted on and on. The very best guide and comfortable clean bus. Could not have been a better day.

What an eventful day! We visited so many sights just within 9 hours. It was really nice to be a part of a small group, we could always keep the schedule and even include an extra stop! Daniel, our guide was very knowledgeable, but he also told a lot about Icelandic society and culture - real insider stories. :) Thanks Star Travel for the great day!We had an amazing day out on the Diamond Circle Tour with Thor. The stories he shared of his family and his life growing up by Lake Myvatn made the day particularly special as he shared with us his favourite places, ending in Husavik. We never felt rushed, it was a great day out.

We visited the north of Iceland to show our young children a side of Iceland they had not experienced previously. Booking the day trip was straight forward and easy to do with good communication from Reynir. Our day trip itself, flying in from Reykjavik to Akureyri, was a fantastic introduction to the north of the island for the kids and a great refresher for ourselves. We were picked up at the airport by our guide Jon, who then took us on a tour of the various sites with some being familiar yet others new to us all. Jon was very attentive on the tour, adapting when and where required. Excellent knowledge of the area alongside the folk stories he told which for some sites actually make perfect sense! Just a genuinely decent guy for us to spend the day with whilst exploring his part of the world. Can absolutely recommend Star Travel should you ever visit the north of Iceland. We have seen many different amazing locations in a very small group. Was an memorable experience I would absolutely recommend even in times of COVID!
