Dinner in the Secret Garden of Guyana with The Singing Chef
Overview
Guyana has a plethora of incredible foods. From grass-fed cows, delicious fresh fish, succulent prawns, wonderful tasting chicken and the gorgeous fresh fruits and vegetables of Guyana.
Now combine all that with a trained international Guyanese chef with an eclectic menu bringing together an updated form of classical Guyanese cuisine and served in the delightful garden setting of his home. On top of that, combined with the smells of the herb garden and seeing fruits of the garden hanging from the trees around you. Lit by stars moon and candlelight You are going to be in for an unforgettable feast.

First, I would like to start this review by saying thank you to Jessica and Eon for making our experience special and memorable. It was my first time back in Guyana in roughly 15 years, and I decided to bring my new fiancee with me to my country and attend this private dinner experience. Jessica and Eon were incredibly accommodating and accommodated our arrival requests with no issues. Upon arriving, Jessica greeted us and brought us to the backyard, where Eon was preparing our dishes. The dishes were prefix, but they were delicious!! Eon, that pumpkin soup app with the bitter melon caviar in the middle is something serious! The main course, which was a trout was also super delicious and juicy, and the coconut mousse dessert - oh man, my fiancee keeps raving about it - we would come back to Guyana just for that! Both Jessica and Eon entertained us with some captivating stories about their journeys in Guyana and their look ahead for what's to come next - I love the future plans and can't wait to see you guys again in the future. Finally, we were serenaded with a few lovely songs to complement the evening and commemorate my engagement with my fiancee - that was a nice touch, and we appreciate it. Overall, we really enjoyed this experience - Jessica and Eon are incredible hosts, and we had a wonderful time with them. I highly recommend this dinner experience to everyone in the Georgetown area.b0b58

Eon's music was a great to listen to and to hear his stories of his previous career within the mainstream music industry was fantastic. I just wanted to take a few moments to thank you both for the wonderful hospitality you extended to those of us who had the pleasure of your company during the Best of Guyana Tour 2023. From the 7 Curry meal to the Sunday Brunch, you exceeded expectations. Your ambiance in the backyard setting was just perfect! The combination of fresh beverages, Pomeroon coffee, local dishes and tropical fruits, all delicately folded into song left each of us with a 'feelgood experience', uniquely yours.
